Movie Review: Reno 911

So Mr. Diva and I went to see Reno 911 last night. While I found it to be a nice excuse to get out of the house and consume popcorn & sour patch kids I don’t recommend spending the outrageous price of $9.50 per person for the theater experience. Lucky for us some one goofed and we only ended up paying $7.50 in which case I really can’t complain…much.

So, what did I think of the flick? Well, I love this TV show and have been a fan since season one, but it felt like they took a regular episode extending the scenes with drawn out half hearted attempts at shock and awe by introducing some ultra-soft core porn and slapped it up on the wide screen. I’d also like to note that the lighting and makeup left something to be desired of the characters who were all looking very aged and out of shape. So Sad.

In closing I’d rate this movie 3 out of 5 stars…save it for a late night rental and be sure to have a bottle of Jack and the lights down low for enhanced pleasure. :)

My Neck, My Back…

Well, I have the flu. It’s kicking my but and I’m not putting up much of a fight. Getting sick really sucks. I stayed home from work, but couldn’t really enjoy the day much. Spent hours just standing around in Second Life thinking of what I could be doing, but with no energy to actually do it.

I’m not looking forward to work tomorrow….I’m never looking forward to it really. I’m so ready for a new job…err…no job actually. My job is cool and the people I work with are great, but I’m a lil bored with working in general. I just wanna crawl under a rock…..maybe I’ll just crawl under the covers. Why am I craving Ice Cream? How many tissues are in this ginormous box? Will they last me? Why do the square cherry halls taste soo much better than the oval ones?

Yeah, I’m sick…Bahhhh

Don’t Talk to Strangers

That’s right, I said it…actually, I sung it!!! and now YOU TOO can spend the rest of your day with it running through you head. :P

So I’m prepping for a trip into the city, New York City that is. Tomorrow night Lynette and I will be plotting the abduction of Rick Springfield from our mezzanine seats of the Nokia theater. You’re wicked jealous…it’s okay, you can admit it. I’ve packed duck tape, nylon rope, fuzzy hand cuffs, and mouth gag (in case he tries to foil our plans by singing us love songs, turning our knees weak and eyes starry…thus making his escape). Heh…no worries ladies…we’ll make sure Rick gets home in time for his next performance!!

Another thing I’m looking forward to is the Nokia Theater’s interactive room! Apparently you can play with all their latest gadgets! Maybe I’ll be love struck and end up with a new accessory in the form of multi-functional cell phone?

Off to bedazzle my Luke loves Laura T-shirt.
