Blogger Challenge: What’s in Your Bag?

I noticed a few nights ago that there was a new blogger challenge going around. It was originated by my friends, Iris & Tenshi, over at Shopping Cart Disco and I knew as soon as I found a few minutes I just had to participate!

Here’s the challenge: Dump out your bag (no cleaning!) and post a pic of it. Men with messenger bags, this applies to you, too. Bullet-point the contents with amusing commentary.

So here is what’s in my bag:

  • My Candie’s Perscription Sunglasses in Case
  • iPod filled with Podcasts & Bootie
  • A Comb
  • One Bottle of Midol (half full)
  • Two Tissues
  • Birth Control Pills (Every woman should have some!)
  • 1 Trojan Condom with a”The-Broad-Cast” sticker (also something Every woman should have!!)
  • A Travel Pack of Advil
  • One Wet-Nap (in case I touch something icky!)
  • One Lonely Tampon (I saw a few instances of this in other posts too – lol)
  • 2 Lipsticks (one Lancome, one Estee Lauder)
  • 4 Tinted Lipglosses (3 Sally Hansen w/ Lip Plump -My Fav- and one Lancome juicy tube)
  • 1 Blistex lip treatment (clear)
  • 1 Lip smackers Cherry Cola chapstick
  • My Moo Cards in Holder
  • My Badge for Work
  • 2 Pieces of Gum and 1 Empty Wrapper
  • $3.43 in Change
  • A Horoscope Card
  • A Nail file
  • Cotton Candy flavored candy stick
  • Toothbrush & Toothpaste
  • A Pink Blutooth ear piece for my cell
  • My Blackbery *heart* and a spare battery
  • 2 Nail Salon Cards
  • 1 Hair Clip, 1 Hairband, and 1 Barrette
  • A Purple Light up ring from my last trip to Vegas (never know when I’m gonna need that!)
  • My Gym Locker Lock
  • A Clinique Eye Shadow Duo
  • My Tweezerman Travel pack (gotta keep the brows in check!)
  • A Safety Pin (Safety First!)
  • A Pink Post-it Note from a trip to the mall last week
  • My Car Registration, Debit Card, License, Insurance Card, 2 Store Discount Cards, and a Gift Card to Dunkin Donuts from a co-worker.
  • $20 (I never carry cash)
  • Some Stamps
  • 1 Grape Blow Pop
  • 1 Granola Bar
  • A pen I stole borrowed from My last stay at The Hilton
  • A Winning Scratch Ticket (I won $4!!)
  • 3 store receipts

    I always love to see what other women lug around in their bags. Mine are way too heavy. But, it’s a great bag – the one I use now is my favorite…big deep red leather Marino Orlandi.

    That purse isn’t dumped out – it’s neatly organized and categorized. My purse is a hellhole of stuff. Actually I just got my very first Vera Bradley purse for Christmas and I moved all my stuff over to it today, so it’s not as full of craptastic stuff as it usually is.
