Well, it’s been over a month now that I have been working from home, which comes with lots of lil perks like not having to hunt for matching socks…one of my major challenges with my corporate 9-5…heck, I can wear jammies all damned day!
So what’s new? Well, in addition to work and adapting to my virtual office … my free time is spent Podcasting, Blogging, and Twittering. I recently participated in the BlogHer Convention’s Second Life Panel : Combining blogging and Second Life. You can catch the video [here] courtesy of Second Life Cable Network. This was a really cool event, which I am seeing more and more of where a Real Life Conference hosts a Second Life component for those unable to attend. I was joined by two well known Second Lifers Vint Falken & Koz Farina – who developed BlogHUD, which gives you the ability to post a micro blog post from with in SL.
A few months back Philadelphia station WHYY contacted me to do an interview on my Second Life persona. The interview aired yesterday and a recap can be heard [here]. Another cool experience for me and neat to listen back to.
So now what? Well, I’m getting ready for a 4 day retreat in Maine where I’ll get to meet all my fellow sheep, then off to Chicago for SLCC…and yes I will be representing the SL Fashion Police…you’ve been warned.
